We’re Nav and Shish, a couple with a dream to travel the world!
And for the last 3+ years, we’ve been on the road full-time while documenting our daily adventures on our YouTube channel.
Born and raised in Bangalore, India, we lived most of our lives – from schooling to work to getting married – in the busy chaos of our hometown.
In May 2022, we took a big step that we had been thinking about for many years…
We sold our belongings, moved out of our apartment, quit our ‘stable’ jobs and got on a one-way flight to Andaman and then to Bangkok, Thailand. The original plan was to travel internationally for six months with the money we had saved, before returning to Bangalore and our normal lives.
What began as a few months of travel turned into a life-changing adventure that has now taken us to over 45 countries across regions in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa! As of today, we’ve been on the road over a thousand days!
Thankfully, we have been able to sustain this journey until now. We don’t know how much longer this will last but we’re curious to see as much of this world as we possibly can!

Then why this website?
With all the information around travel on the internet, we did not want our channel or this website to become another ‘travel blog’.
While we document our daily lives on the move on YouTube, we made this website to share useful learnings and resources from the experience we’ve gathered travelling internationally.

Travel hacking ✈️
Before we left to travel full-time, we’d spend so many hours on the internet, looking for the cheapest international flight tickets through travel hacking strategies. For instance, we once flew on an airline in Vietnam for free!
Youtube resources 🎥
We started this Youtube channel with little knowlege of filming and editing videos. At that time, we only knew how to put a bunch of clips together and add (barely) tasteful music. Two years and 400 videos later, there’s so much we’ve learnt.

Why are you doing this?
We wanted to experience a life where we could explore new places, rich culture and delicious local food everyday. We believe that this is our way of living free and want to experience it for as long as we possibly can!
How long have you both been together?
We met in high school in 2009. Studied university together. We got married in 2016 and our honeymoon was our first trip together.
How are you paying for this?
While working our corporate jobs, we saved as much money as we could. A combination of our savings, YouTube revenues and our BuyMeACoffee page have contributed to making this journey possible!
What did you do for work before?
We both worked in the finance industry for about 10 years, in our hometown of Bangalore. Back then, we used a combination of long weekends and our vacation days to travel for one week, once every three months.
What filming gear do you use?
We primarily use a Sony ZV1 and an iPhone to vlog and click photos. While riding scooters, jumping into waterfalls and snorkelling, we use an action camera.
How tall is Shish?
Shishira is nearly five feet tall, although she likes to claim that she is taller.
