S1 E09 | Snorkeling at Nemo Point, Scooter Ride & Radhanagar Sunset

We hit record late today—around 1 pm—because the morning was all about the ocean. Shish and I went snorkeling at Nemo Point, and it was gorgeous.

The reef starts roughly 70–100 meters from shore, so you can just wade or swim out—no strong currents to fight. We spotted loads of colorful fish (names pending!); our friend dove deeper, pointed things out, and made it extra fun. Diving might be the “next level”, but for beginners, snorkeling is perfect.

With a rented scooter for the day, we decided to roam and ended up back at Radhanagar Beach. It was sunny, the water looked amazing, and the beach was way busier than our last visit—I counted “at least 200” people.

We grabbed a veg thali for lunch—okay, not great—and then searched out a quieter pocket under massive trees just off the sand. (Shish-for-scale trees—truly huge.)

We wrapped the day with our first sunset of the trip—golden, calm, and one we’ll both remember for a long time.
